Be Bold and Let it Go

Fun fact: For many years I struggled living with anxiety. I would get so worked up about situations that hadn’t even happened, I would have panic attacks and feared being alone because that’s when my mind would start to race. Ok, so that’s not a fun fact but it is fun that I leared how to overcome this!

I recently seen a survey on Instagram that asked people what their biggest struggle in life was they felt completely alone in? Throughout the day responses were posted of what people wrote and the most common response was…..you guessed it; anxiety!

How can it be that something SOOOO common can make people feel so alone? Are the who, what, where, when questions keeping you awake at night? Guess what friend, you’re not alone! And ya know what else? You, yes YOU can stop the panic just like I did and I’m going to tell you how.

For 3 easy payments of $19.95……..:) I’m totally kidding. Ok, but seriously read the verse below like 3 times.

” Do NOT be ANXIOUS about ANYTHING but in EVERYTHING by PRAYER and PETITION with THANKSGIVING present your request to GOD. – Philippians 4:6

That’s it you guys! It’s seriously that simple. The second and I’m talking second an anxious thought creeps into your head or if something is coming up in your life that may cause you to panic all you need to do is boldly go before God and lay your request at his feet. lay your burdens, your fears, your anxiety all of it!

” Let us therefore come BOLDLY to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find GRACE to help in time of need. -Hebrews 4:16

And as always after you have laid your fears down, Thank Him for his unfailing love for you. This is an important step, God loves us deeply and it’s so important we let Him know just how truly greatful we are to be His.

Everyone has their own fears, their own unique situation. But ya know what? God doesn’t discriminate, he loves you just as you are. So stop being so dang selfish and holding onto all that yuck. Let it go, be free. Live your best life starting today!

It wasn’t until I started truly accepting God’s love that I was able to free myself from constant anxiety. I pray for you; that you will not hold onto the yuck for as long as I did. Because, man if I knew then what I know now I would have laid it down at His feet long ago.
